Support of excavation (SOE) structures to provide temporary support from earth and water forces

SOE structures to provide support from earth and water forces.

The purpose of support of excavation (SOE) structures is to provide temporary support from earth and water forces, to permit the safe excavation and construction of a permanent geostructure. As site and soil conditions vary, so does the systems cost and feasibility.

Steel piles are an isotropic material; they are readily available and made from 100% recycled content. In addition, there is no cure time for loading, and they are easy to extract. These are just some of the reasons why steel SOE structures are more viable than insitu/cast-in-place systems.

When exploring SOE systems for your next project, JDF offers a variety of steel geostructural systems and solutions.

Prior to founding J D Fields & Company, Jerry Fields gained decades of experience in construction products and piling applications managing equipment rentals, material sales, and product operations. Coupled with his oil and gas experience, Jerry built a rock solid foundation of industry knowledge and relationships that allowed him and his partners to start the company in 1985. Incorporated in Houston, Texas, JDF quickly diversified into multiple construction markets and applications. Today, it is a premiere international source for natural gas pipe and piling products.
